“Hawk Walks” 2020

Falconry-for-beginners3.jpg

Marvel in the thrill of a spectacular hawk swooping down to your gloved hand in the glorious Suffolk countryside!

After a brief introduction on how we keep and fly our birds we will take you and one of our hawks on a trip through the outreaches of the Stonham Barns complex and surrounding countryside where. Then, after a brief lesson in how to fly a hawk safely, you will get to delight in watching our birds following you from tree to tree, before gliding down to the glove when called.

This experience will give you a taster of what falconers have enjoyed for generations and allow you to be part of the unique relationship between human and hawk. A wonderful, memorable experience that we’re sure you’ll never forget! PLease bring a camera and suitable footwear! Suitable age 16+, no previous experience necessary

The 90-mimute experience runs for 9.30am - 11am. Participants £40
