School & Youth Group Visits to S.O.S.

Our Days Out for Schools & Youth Groups provide a creatively fun and stimulating time at the Centre, where children can learn all about Owls and other Birds of Prey.

A typical visit to the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary includes:

  • A short welcome and introduction
  • Guided tour
  • Craft activity
  • "Meet-The-Meerkats" session
  • Red Squirrel Recce
  • Lunch at about 12.00pm
  • Flying display at 12.30pm for approx ¾ hr
  • Free time to explore the Sanctuary and, for our junior visitors, a free copy of our S.O.S Safari book

Are you studying a particular period in history? Do you want your visit to be a more science-based experience? Or do you simply want to know all about owls? Then remember, your visit can be tailored entirely to your requirements!

The group cost is £4.00 per child with a ratio of 1 adult to 6, for children under 8 years of age, accompanying free. Your visit should be timed to begin at 10.30am please.

NB. All our falconry and education staff are fully trained and have been Enhanced CRB checked!
