Come and meet our new friends Melanie & Pedro
in an Armadillo Close Encounter!

We’re very pleased to be hosting our new friends Melanie & Pedro to Suffolk Owl Sanctuary!! Here’s a little video about how they arrived with us, and now you can meet them up close and personal with our new Armadillo Encounter. Spending time with these friendly desert dwellers will provide a memorable opportunity to learn all about their lifestyles and characters. Embarking on your Armadillo Encounter in the company of an expert keeper you'll meet and engage with our endearing pair in their enclosure, and treat them to their favourite snacks. Your guide will be by your side to provide insights into their fascinating world and help you capture some memorable photos. Beginning at 10.30 and lasting for 20 minutes, Armadillo Encounters can be booked in advance, price £30 per person excluding admission to the Sanctuary. Max 4 participants per Encounter, minimum age: 8.

Dates for each subsequent month June - December will be published here two months prior

BOOKING YOUR ENCOUNTER

(1) Find the date of the encounter you would like on the calendar below, and click on it. (2) The box under the Time Zone caption bottom right will show how many spaces there are available on the Encounter. (3) Choose the number of places you would like on the Encounter. (4) If booking less than 4 spaces, you may be joined by another visitor to the Centre. (5) If the box is greyed out, we’re sorry but there are no spaces for the encounter available on the date you have selected.
