Two ‘Come Fly With Me’ Close Encounters are held daily and offer the opportunity for you to spend time up close and personal flying one of our beautiful owls in the company of one of our trained bird handlers.
Lasting for approx. 20mins, the 12.30pm Encounters can be booked in advance using the process below, or on-the-day at the Sanctuary up to 90 minutes prior. The 3:30 Encounters can be booked on the day on the same basis, and both on-the-day bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
2 places are available for each ‘Come Fly With Me’ Owl Encounter, price £30 per participant, excluding the price of admission. Available all year, the minimum age for participants is 8.
BOOKING YOUR ENCOUNTER
(1) Find the date of the encounter you would like on the calendar below, and click on it. (2) The box under the Time Zone caption bottom right will show how many spaces there are available on the Encounter. (3) Choose the number of places you would like on the Encounter. (4) If booking less than 2 spaces, you may be joined by another visitor to the Centre. (5) If the box is greyed out, we’re sorry but there are no spaces left for the 12.30 encounter available on the date you have selected. However there may be places available for the 3.30 encounter, ask at reception at least 90 minutes before on the day of your visit.
