No, Suffolk Owl Sanctuary accepts cash or card for admissions, gift shop and donations. Please note we do not accept American Express.

Your ticket is valid from the time you arrive until we close on the selected date.

We very much regret that dogs (including Guide/ Assistance Dogs) are not allowed in the centre for the safety of both our animals and canine friends - sorry.

We offer engaging talks on our animals throughout the day, where you have to opportunity to see the animals and ask our knowledgeable team any questions. Depending on the time of year we put on breath taking flying displays giving you an opportunity to see our birds in their element. If you are after a more personal experience we also offer pre booked encounters. Check out our experiences page for more information.

To avoid disappointment, please telephone us first on 0345 680 7879 / option 3 in order to check whether we have the capacity for you and your party. Booking a ticket beforehand is preferable as we cannot guarantee a space for you, even though you may have phoned us earlier to check whether space may be available.

Yes, picnics are welcome, and visitors may bring their own food & non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy a picnic. We request no food is eaten during flying displays or any of our encounters.
We currently do not have food facilities within the Sanctuary, there is options available within Stonham Barns Park.

As an annual member you are welcome to visit the sanctuary as often as you like. Please ensure you have you pass to scan and make a note of changing opening times throughout the year to avoid disappointment.

The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is majority outdoors, for this reason we would recommend dressing weather appropriate ensuring you have waterproofs or sun hats depending on the day.
In order to protect our animals and maintain biosecurity and keep them healthy we have serval foot mats around the sanctuary which we ask all visitors to use when they see one, for this reason we recommend wearing shoes you are happy to potentially get wet. These mats are suitable for wheelchairs / buggies to roll over.

f a member of your party holds a VIP ticket, for example, as an Adopter or Cobweb Club member, or has won an S.O.S. Gift Voucher in a charity raffle, please follow the procedures described here to book your visit for the other members of your party. Then email us at suffolkowlhome@gmail.com with your booking reference and type of voucher that you hold, and we will add the free place to your booking. Please remember to bring the VIP Tickets or Vouchers with you to validate your admission.
